Three generations equipping boats
We have spent more than five decades in the Toscal district, two steps from the harbour, helping local and visiting sailors put to sea with everything they need on board.
Our story
From ship's stores to leisure boating
In 1968, Tomás Fernández Blanco opened a ship's chandlery on Calle Santiago, in the heart of the port district of Santa Cruz. For twenty years he supplied ships with everything they needed before casting off.
When ship supply declined in the late eighties and the pontoons filled with sailing yachts and motorboats, Tomás turned the business towards leisure boating — and that is where we have stayed. The shop is now run by his daughter, Carmen Fernández Ibars, who grew up among filters, ropes and VETUS manuals.
We sell everything a boat needs, except the boat.
What we do
Everything for your boat… except the boat
We cover leisure boating and the professional customer too: workshops, charter operators and small-scale fishing. We supply gear for sailing yachts, engines, fishing, jet skis, water skiing and caravanning as well, because a boat and a van share the same idea: taking your home wherever you want.
We are an official VETUS Center and we distribute Victron Energy y Hempel. We look after the local sailor just as much as the one stopping in Tenerife on the way across the Atlantic bound for Cape Verde, the Caribbean or South America.
